Windom Stanley, 92, of Spanish Fort, AL, and a long-time resident of Atmore, AL, passed away Friday, December 5th, at his home in Westminster Village, Spanish Fort, Alabama.

Windom was preceded in death by his first wife, Opal Roberts, his second wife, Mildred Greene, his son, Michael Wayne Stanley, his parents, his sister, and three brothers.

Windom is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and John Cowing, his granddaughters, Sarah and Katy, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Windom has entered the gates of heaven and will live on in our hearts forever.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 10th, at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore. A memorial service is being planned at Westminster Village in Spanish Fort at a later date.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
