William Lamar Sunday, 54, passed away on March 7, 2026.   He was born on May 10, 1971, to Walter Budrow Sunday and Peggy Bass Sunday.

William was full of life and a loving brother to his family and friends.  He was a motorcycle and tractor mechanic who enjoyed working with his hands in such fields as carpentry and plumbing.  He also attended Fretwell Tabernacle Church in Perdido, AL.

William is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Chris Sunday, David Sunday; and his sisters, Tammy Sunday and Sheryle Sunday.

He is survived by his daughter, Penny Lee Huckons; his brothers, Walter Sunday, Jerry Sunday, and Gerald Tucker; his sisters, Teresa Sunday, Pamela Gail Sunday, and Lisa Tucker Miller.  William is also survived by 3 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel, with Sis. Helen Stewart officiating.

Inurnment will follow at a later date.
