William Olen Parmer, 82, of Huxford, AL, passed away on November 10, 2025, at his residence.  William was born July 16, 1943 in Atmore, AL to William Ollie Parmer and Estale Proyer.  William served in the United States Army and served in the Vietnam war.  He retired in 2004 from Brewton Container as a machine tender.  William was an avid fisherman and loved the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee.  He was a member of Huxford Baptist Church.

William is preceded in death by his parents, William Ollie Parmer and Estale Pryor Parmer Reynolds, and his sister, Levane Vickrey.

William is survived by his daughters, April (Curley) Davis of Huxford, AL, Christi (Fred) Morris of Flomaton, AL, and Melanie McCurdy of Jay, FL, his brother, Gerald (Patty) Parmer of Huxford, AL; his grandchildren, William Morris, Garrick Davis, Mary Elizabeth James, Madison McCurdy, and Chase McCurdy, his great-grandson, Clifton Tucker James.

Graveside services for William will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 2 PM at Huxford Baptist Church Cemetery.  Interment will follow in Huxford Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation for William will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
