On December 29, 1955, Vera Theresa Barlow was born to Walter and Bessie Barlow. She was the youngest of her brothers and sisters. She was an amazingly kind and selfless woman who loved everyone in her life and would gladly give anyone anything they needed if she could. On December 22, 2021, she joined her Heavenly Father and will always be remembered and loved. She is preceded in death by her parents and 12 siblings.

She is survived by son, John (Crystal) Oakes of Knoxville, TN and daughter Michelle (Travis) Flowers of Uriah, AL. Grandchildren: Theresa (Labon) Turk of Uriah, AL; Amber (Logan) Boatwright of Atmore, AL; Austin Flowers of Uriah, AL; and Mason Flowers of Uriah, AL. Great-grandchildren: Castiel and Rowan Turk of Urah, AL and Kennedy and Rhett Turk of Atmore, AL. She is survived by six siblings: Walter "Tobe" (Bobbie) Barlow Jr of Shepherd, TX; Margaret Ann (Larson) Bryars of Perdido, AL; Judy Rathsack of Atmore, AL; Donald Barlow of Nokomis, FL; Frank "Dunky" (Shirley) Barlow of Nokomis, AL; and Debbie Barlow of Nokomis, FL.

A Celebration of Life will be held for her at Johnson Quimby Funeral Home at 4pm on January 17, 2022.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that you make a donation in her memory to your charity of choice.
