Thornwell S. Lee, 87 of Atmore, AL. passed away November 6, 2019 in Fairhope, AL. He was born to the late Edward and Mary Marsh Lee in Camden, S.C. on January 2, 1932. He served in the United States Army and was a graduate of the University of Georgia with a B.S. degree in forestry. He was a member of Brooks Memorial Baptist Church. He was a forester most of his life and retired from International Paper Company and the State of Georgia. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister; Alva Kennedy and a brother Edward Lee, Jr.

He is survived by his wife Betty Lee of Atmore, two daughters Cynthia (Roy) Munger of Spanish Fort, AL. and Candy (Pierre) Bustany of France. Three grandchildren Alan, Lee and Robert.

Memorial services will be held Friday, November 15, 2019 at 10 AM from the Brooks Memorial Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Lee officiating.
