Sylvia J. Harrell, age 82, of Atmore, AL passed away on January 16, 2023.  She was born on May 1, 1940 to Otis A. and Jessie "Catherine" Byrd Barnes in Bratt, FL.  She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Aubrey Ray Harrell, Sr.; her son, Donald Barnes and her siblings: Sylvester Barnes, Hollis Terry Barnes, Henry E. "Pete" Barnes, Wyvonne Barnes, Barbara Hendrix and Opal Morris.

She is survived by her children: Aubrey Ray Harrell, Jr., Jeffrey Rey Harrell, Sharon Kay Murell and Brenda Renee Harrell; her sister, Zelma Emory; her grandchildren; her great grandchildren and her nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 11 AM at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ricky Peebles officiating.
