Steven Edward Peacock, 60 of Ft. Morgan, Al passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024.

Steve was born in Atmore, Al on March 26, 1963 to William Edward Peacock and Patsy Barbara "Marshall" Peacock.

Although he attended Escambia Academy through 11th grade, he graduated from Pelham High School in 1981.  Steve went on to work for Perot Systems, Mt. Sinai Health Systems in New York and finished his career with UCSF at Zuckerberg San Francisco General as an Administrative Director of Clinical Labs.

Steve fought a brave fight against a rare, aggressive form of Cancer.  His grace through the process was something that we all have learned from watching him.  He had an unwavering respect and deep compassion for others and their feelings even when he himself was hurting.  His gentleness was a trait he shared with everyone.  Steve loved to travel and had many chances to travel abroad, but his true love was being with his family and at his home in Ft Morgan Al.

Survivors are his Father, William E. Peacock, Mother, Patsy "Marshall" Peacock, Daughter, Sabrina (Abrian) Allender, Son, Blaine Peacock, Sister, Jill (Bryan) Hughes, Sister, Rebecca Peacock, Nieces, Julie Sterndorf and Hannah Sterndorf, Nephews, Ryan (Amanda) Peacock, Alec Hughes and Austin Hughes.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 2 PM at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Kenny Moore, Pastor officiating.

Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore, Al.

Family will receive guest at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in Atmore, Al on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 1:00-2:00 pm.
