Shirley Ann Marshall of Huxford, AL, age 84, passed away on April 4, 2021 in Atmore, AL.  She was born on January 17, 1937 to the late Carl and Georgia Waid Dreadin.  She retired as secretary of Huxford Elementary School after many years of service.  She was a long time member of Huxford Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, William C. Marshall.

She is survived by her son, Stan (Diane) Marshall of Huxford, AL; her daughters, Janice (Jim) Carlton of Canoe, AL and Annise (Chris) Bruley of Atmore, AL; her brother, Orion (Gwen) Dreadin of Lake Charles, LA; her sister, Gwen (Robert Earl) Brantley of Atmore, AL; five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Boyd officiating.  Interment will follow in Huxford Baptist Church Cemetery in Huxford, AL.

Active pallbearers will be John Brantley, Robbie Brantley, Gary Dreadin, Paul Lanza, Johnny Middleton and Scott Brantley.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
