Shelley Ward Turner, 54, of Atmore, AL. passed away on August 14, 2026.   She was born on November 11, 1971 to Wayne and Linda Blackburn Ward.

Shelley was a nurse for 33 years and an avid seamstress.   She was a mother to three beautiful, intelligent women, and "Mia" to two gorgeous girls and two handsome boys.

She was met in heaven by her mother, Linda Blackburn Ward.

Shelley is survived by her daughters, Dezarae Tharpe (Lucie), Emily Hammonds, Chelsea Reaves (Trevor); her loving father, Wayne Ward; her sister, Stacey Guyton (Jon, Carson, Trace, & Olivia) of Opelika, AL; and four grandchildren, Tate Bradford, Hudson Hammonds, Grayson Reaves, and Ellison Tharpe.

No arrangements have been made at this time.
