On August 30, 2021, Patricia Arrington Conway (81) went to sleep and awoke in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born on February 23, 1940 in Frisco City, Alabama, Patricia was the third among seven children. Her siblings included Agnes Harris, Nell (Richard) Davis, Sherral (Billy Joe) Dawkins, Clarence (Robin) Arrington, Wanda (Jim) Otten, Shelia Rollin, and Charles Vernon Arrington. Ms. Pat, as she was affectionately known, was a native of Bay Minette and a well-known member of the Pine Grove community. If anyone spent even a small amount of time in her presence, they would know she loved two things above all else: Jesus and her family. An active member of Southside Baptist Church, Ms. Pat and her husband, Mr. Autry led the Married Adults Sunday School class for many years. When they weren't with their church family, they were raising their children and grandchildren to have a personal relationship with Christ.

Pat and Autry were married for 55 years and their happy union produced five wonderful children: Pamela Conway, Wendy (Robert) Davis, Anthony (Susan) Conway, Joseph (Gina) Conway, and Benjamin Conway. They were blessed with 10 grandchildren: Carrie (David) Lowery, Paul (Tracy) Davis, Joshua Conway, Brandon Conway, Matthew (Donna) Conway, Kala (Brian) White, Jessica (Adam) Mizell, Hannah (Tony) Palombo, Dakota Conway, and Caleb Conway. Their grandchildren listened to their Granny and were fruitful, producing 20 great grandchildren. Ask anyone who Ms. Pat's favorite was and they would say she loved them all equally. Ask her grandchildren and they would all say, "Josh!"

Upon her death, she was greeted at Heaven's gate by those who preceded her: her parents, Clarence and Montez Arrington, her oldest daughter Pam, her beloved husband, Autry, her sister, Agnes, and her brother, Charles Vernon.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Hughes officiating.  Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Paul Davis, Brandon Conway, Josh Conway, Matthew Conway, Dakota Conway, Caleb Conway, and Eugene Conway.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church in Bay Minette, AL.
