Merle Harris Tolin ~ Born April 5, 1944 ~ Homegoing September 17, 2021

Merle was born to Fletcher Alexander and Lula Dale Davis Harris.

She is preceded in death her parents; her husband, Herman E. Tolin; her children, Sheila Marie Tolin and Angie Marie Tolin and her siblings, Imogene Harris Brown and Robert Harris.

She is survived by her sons, Herman Roy Tolin and James Floyd (Tammy) Tolin of Atmore, AL; her grandson, James Benjamin "Bean" Tolin all of Atmore, AL; her siblings, Elbert Harris of Elberta, AL, Will Harris, Charles Harris, Ronnie Lee Harris and Larry (Patricia) Harris all of Goodway, AL; Ed (Patricia) Harris and James (Linda) Harris of Frisco City, AL; Clyde (Lindy) Harris of Monroeville, AL;  Annie Harris and Mary Ann (Artie) Tillman of Fairhope, AL along with many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home with Bro. Clarence Rolin officiating.  Interment will follow at Mineola Cemetery in Mineola, AL.

Active pallbearers will be Tommy Davis, Terry Godwin, Larry Harris, Jason Dunn, Ed Davis and James Harris.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
