Maggie Lambert Godwin, age 79, of Huxford, AL passed away on January 28, 2025 in Mobile, AL.  She was born on July 27, 1945 in Huxford, AL to David Daniel and Zuma Garrett Lambert.  Maggie loved the simple beauty of flowers and flower gardening.  She cherished the time she spent making decorative wreaths and floral designs which graced many. She also enjoyed watching television.

Maggie is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Ray Wiggins; her second husband, Elbert E. "Buddy" Godwin, Sr.; her brother, Ray Lambert and her sister, Annie L. Guy.

Maggie is survived by her son, Kenneth R. Stabler (Michelle Edwards) of Atmore, AL; her daughter, Mandy (Rusty) Emmons of Atmore, AL; her grandchildren, Grayson (Brannon) Freeman, Garrett Emmons, and Mayci Stabler; her great grandchild, Knox Freeman along with numerous family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with High Priest Beth Linam officiating.  Interment will follow in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery in Goodway, AL.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
