John C. "J.C" Moye, age 83, of Atmore, AL passed away on March 10, 2021 in Atmore, AL.  He was born on January 17, 1938 in Escambia County, AL to the late Tem, Sr. and  Thelma Booth Moye.  He was a member and deacon of Presley Street Baptist Church.  He was a retired Chemical Operator with Monsanto Company and an avid farmer.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Peggy A. Moye and three sisters, Pauline Seay, Glenda Cooper and Margaret Sharpland.

He is survived by his sons, Richard (Pam) Moye of Bay Minette, AL, Rondel (Karen) Moye of Sharon, SC, Robert (Janice) Moye of Bratt, FL and Tony (Kim) Lambert of Satsuma, AL; his daughters, Regina (James) Hare of Walnut Hill, FL and Debra Thrower of Atmore, AL; his brother, Tem Moye, Jr. of Flomaton, AL; his sister, Jackie (Michael) Perritt of Pace, FL; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Joseph Simpson officiating.  Interment will follow at Moyeville Baptist Church Cemetery in Moyeville, AL.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 1:30 p.m. until service time at 2:30 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
