Janice Bryant Barden, age 61 of Citronelle, AL passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Mobile,AL.She was born on March 05, 1957 in Dermontt, AR. to the late John Houston and Claudean Prescott Bryant . She graduated with a B.S. in Accounting, a minor in Agriculture. Held several positions in Banking, Legal and Agriculture fields . But her first love was Flowers.

After being diagnosed with cancer, She started her company, jbbandflowers and began the journey which enabled her to create weddings that gave each bride the desire of their heart. This was made possible by honing her skills at Zimlich ' The Florist' for a number of years.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, and her Parents-In-Law; Elwood and Ruby Barden
Janice is survived by her husband Douglas E. Barden; a brother, John H. Bryant Jr. ( Shannon ) of Belle Vista, AR. and a sister Lynn Courson (Paul)of Lake Village, AR.; nephews, Matthew Bryant, Christopher Bryant and Andy Chaney Bryant; nieces, Taylor Dean Courson and Ashley Hickman. Many special Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, etc…

Services will be Saturday December 08, 2018 with viewing at 12PM and funeral at 2PM at the First Baptist Church of Atmore, with Rev. Clay Lewis

officiating. Internment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
