James Larry "Stoney" Presley, age 55, of Nokomis, FL passed away on June 27, 2023.  He was born on April 28, 1968 in Atmore, AL to Jesse Larry Presley and Linda Davis Presley.  He was a retired aircraft mechanic.  He had a love of disassembling old things and bringing new life to them.  He loved his family dearly.  Stoney also enjoyed rock music, fishing, good ole southern food and guns.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Presley; his son, Jesse Stone Presley of Perdido, AL; his daughter, Rachel Presley (Kyle Robbins) of Pensacola, FL; his siblings, Chester Presley of Atmore, AL and Angelia (Billy) Rolin of Atmore, AL and his granddaughter, Riley Brown.

A gathering of family and friends for James Larry "Stoney" Presley will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in Atmore, AL.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
