Elena Gidea, age 86, of McDavid, FL, passed away on December 16, 2025, in Pensacola, FL.  Elena was born on February 8, 1939, in Olteanca, Romania.  Elena had an educational career. Elena is preceded in death by her parents.

Elena is survived by her husband, Constantin Gidea; her son, Catalin (Elena) Gidea of Christian Home, FL; her grandchildren, Justin Gidea and Julian Gidea, along with family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 12:30 p.m. at Ray's Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Grant Norris officiating. Interment will follow in Ray's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. until service time at 12:30 p.m. at Ray's Chapel Baptist Church.
