Douglas Wayne Cooper, age 66, of Flomaton, AL passed away on February 1, 2025 in Pensacola, FL.  He was born on February 10, 1958 in Milton, FL to John James and Christine Rowell Cooper.  He loved having a good time.  Music was his passion, enjoyed drumming and The Beatles.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

Douglas is survived by his daughter, Jamie Lynn Cooper (Shanatha Cooper) of Flomaton, AL; real close friends, Alex (Dina) Lowery, Rachel (Keith) Johnston and William Crutchfield; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 7, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Canoe.  Interment will follow in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 7, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Canoe.

A reception will follow at the First Baptist Church of Canoe.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to help with funeral expenses.
