Cynthia W. "Cindy" Raines, age 65, of Atmore, AL passed away on November 10, 2022 in Pensacola, FL.  She was born on May 22, 1957 in Mobile, AL to James Henry and Louellen Moses Ward.  She was a member of Crosspoint Baptist Church and a loving wife, mom and nanny.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings: Lou Ann Howell and Benny Howell.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Joe Raines; her sons: Joseph Christopher Raines of Mobile, AL and Ethan Aaron (Maranda) Raines of Flomaton, AL; her daughter, Sandra Lynn (Ronnie) Beasley of Atmore, AL; her brothers: Lamar (Tina) Ward of Brewton, AL, Wendell (Rhonda) Ward of Brewton, AL and Mark (Tammy) Ward of Brewton, AL; her sister, Terri (Donnie) Anglin of Mobile, AL and her grandchildren: Lyrik Wingate and Myles Raines.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, November 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Bro. Don Sanks officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers will be Ethan Raines, Chris Raines, Logan Morris, Lamar Ward, Mark Ward and Joshua Manning.
