Curtis Eugene "Shorty" Capers, 35 of Perdido, AL. passed away August 6, 2019 in Perdido. He was born in Houston, TX. to James Henry, Sr. and Patricia Capers on December 26, 1983. He is preceded in death by his father James Henry Capers, Sr.; step father Thomas Warren Watson; grandparents Lucille Lambeth, Curtis George Capers; Henry Capers and Emily Capers.

He is survived by his mother Patricia Capers Watson; brothers Henry Capers of Perdido, AL; Sambo Capers of Illinois; Jerry (Toni) Capers of Perdido, AL and a half-sister Birdie Capers Parsons. Four nieces; one nephew; one great niece and numerous family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 11 AM from the
Dry Springs Church with Sister Helen Stewart Officiating. Interment will follow
in Dry Springs Cemetery. Active Pallbearers are, Bill Bolter, K.J. Bolter, Austin
Walker, Marcus McDowell, Cecil Bolter, and J. W. Philyaw.

Family will receive friends, Thursday August 15, 2019 Dry Springs Church from
10:00AM until service time at 11:00AM.
