Mr. Connie Barbarow of Perdido, AL passed away in Fairhope, AL on December 18, 2021 at the age of 89. He was born on June 6, 1932 to Jesse F. and Lelia Bell Barbarow. He served in the United States Navy and worked and retired from the Pensacola Naval Air Station, Whiting Field. He loved to fish and plant a large garden each spring and was especially known for his watermelons. He loved to watch things grow and loved to raise cows. He is preceded in death by his father and mother. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Betty Byrd Barbarow; two brothers, Seldon Ted Barbarow of Montgomery, AL and Benny Floyd Barbarow of Perdido, AL.

He is survived by his daughters, Ellen (Darwin) Earls of Bay Minette, AL and Rose Mosley of Perdido, AL; his grandchildren, Brandon (Megan) Earls of Bay Minette, AL; Breanna Earls of Daphne, AL; Brooke Earls of Auburn, AL; Brian (Sarah) Earls of Summerdale, AL and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 2 PM at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randall Short officiating. Interment will follow in Perdido Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Brandon Earls, Brian Earls, Jerry Plovanich, George Plovanich, Dewitt Roley and Marty Hadley.

Honorary pallbearer will be Jimmy Stewart.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 1 PM until service time at 2 PM at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.

Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
