Christine S. Sowell, age 90, of Mobile, AL went to her heavenly home on October 10, 2020. She was born on December 21, 1929 in Monroe County, AL to the late Rufus and Tommie Beatrice Hammac Sanspree.  She was a lifetime member of First Assembly of God Church in Atmore.  She was a precious Saint of God and prayer warrior. She loved God, her family and her friends deeply.

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Charlotte Johnson, Sandra Cottrell, and Gloria Goodman; her husbands, Millard Johnson, Eugene Foster and Lafayette Sowell.

She is survived by her daughters, Sheila (Randy) Hogan, and Annette (Gary) Odem; her son, Virgil (Dawn) Sowell and her son-in-law, David Cottrell; her sister, Pat Hobbs and numerous beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Atmore, AL with Bro. Don Davis officiating.   Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore, AL.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 15, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Atmore, AL.

Active pallbearers will be the First Assembly of God's Monday Night Prayer Meeting Men.
