Grantland, Charles Roger Jr "Chuck" age 60 passed away on Saturday, April 30th at Atmore Nursing Center, Atmore, AL following a brief illness.
Chuck was born on October 13,1961 in Mobile Alabama. Chuck moved many times with his family and lived in Alabama, Maine, and Canada. Chuck did not have an easy life. Chuck loved fishing, watching TV, especially westerns and documentary and helping his mother and stepfather at their church and RV park. He has two cats and lived on his own in Elberta, Alabama. He held a long-time job at The Road Cafe until a stroke in July, 2021.
Chuck is survived by his mother, Joanne McNeil (David Lee) of Alabama; Stepmother, Vicki Grantland of Florida; Sisters: Deborah Benton (Michael) of Alabama; Karen Jeffords (Tom) of Florida; Danna Freeman (Terry) of Alabama; Becky Grantland (Steve) of Alaska; Anne Weinshel (Matthew) of North Carolina; Brother, Scott Grantland of Alabama.
Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, Deanna Brimicombe of Canada; his father, Charles Roger Grantland Senior of Florida, and his brother, John "Steve" Grantland of Alabama.
