Brian Linden Joy, 61, of Atmore, AL passed away on July 2, 2020 at his residence. He was born on January 28, 1959 in Rochester, NH to Stanley G. Joy and the late Dorothy Styron. He was a friend to many and would do anything to help those he called friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Godwin Joy and his mother, Dorothy Styron Bowden.

Survivors include his father, Stanley G. Joy of Silverhill; brother, Steven Joy of Atmore; two daughters, Rebecca McKinley of Albany, GA and Stefanie Kockx of Woodbridge, VA; and grandchildren, Parker, and Ally.

A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Arnold Hendrix officiating.
