Beverly Phillips Blackwell, age 71, of Atmore, AL passed away on October 16, 2023.  She was born on October 27, 1951 in Atmore, AL to Burl Franklin Phillips, Sr. and Faye Coon Phillips.  She was a member of Gravel Hill Primitive Baptist Church. She was a beloved teacher with the Mobile County School System for 25 years.  She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Burl Franklin Phillips, Jr.

She is survived by her daughters, Katherine Blackwell and Faye Temple Blackwell; her sister, Phyllis Phillips Hendrix along with numerous cousins and friends.

Services will be held at a later date.
