Amy Coleen Murph, 46,  our "beloved girl" went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 16, 2026.  She was in the arms of her mother and surrounded by her family.

Amy was born on December 21, 1979, in Mobile, AL., and was a lifelong resident of Bay Minette, AL.  From the day she was born, her life was difficult in many ways, but by God's grace, it was full of much love and joy.   She loved hugs, ice cream, puppies, and her young nieces and nephews.  She hated chili, having her face washed, and the train at Dollywood.  With the help of her family, she lived as full a life as she could.  She was a treasure, and her absence leaves an unfillable void in our lives.

The family wishes to thank our extended family, who loved Amy as one of their own; the congregations of New Life Baptist Church and Judson Baptist Church, who have continued to love and support us; and the medical community in Mobile and Bay Minette, who provided many years of excellent care.  We are especially grateful to Drs. Brice Whetstone, Joseph Galloway, Matthew Eves, William Gewin, and Timothy Toms.

Amy was preceded in death by her father, Colvin Murph; grandparents, Clarence and Elizabeth Weaver, Connie Murph, and Doris Murph (Marshall) Hall; and brother-in-law, Arnie Forrester.

Surviving relatives include her mother, Faye Livingston Murph; sisters, Lynn Forrester and Donna (Jared) Parker; brother, Craig Murph; and several nieces, nephews, a great-nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel, in Atmore, AL., with Dr. Brett Chancery officiating.   Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore, AL.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
